Your kids are old enough to get certified at 10 years old if they have the maturity level to be safe in the water. While many instructors won't work with children, I love working with them! Kids tend to be absolutely fearless and bring the all the joy to diving! However, I reserve the right not to certify child if they are not yet strong enough to perform all the skills or if they exhibit problematic behaviors that could jeapordize their safety. Your child's safety is my top priority.

Additionally, please know your children have sensitve air spaces. If your child has a history of ENT issues (i.e. tubes in their ears, oversized adnoids/tonsils, chronic ear infections or sinus infections to name a few) then please have them checked out by an ENT prior to their course. These issues could make it to where they are unable to equalize affectively and will lead to discouragement when the course has to be put on pause. Most of these issues have a simple fix!!!
